Brief Technologies LLC ("Brief Technologies," "we," "us") operates BriefTech FedOps ("FedOps," "the Service"). This Privacy Policy describes what data we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it.
Account information you provide: name, email address, password (stored as a salted hash, never in plaintext), and organization/company name.
Company profile data, via your own SAM.gov API key: when you connect your SAM.gov API key, we retrieve your company's registration data directly from SAM.gov — NAICS codes, certifications, entity status, past performance, and similar fields — solely to populate your profile and generate matching/analysis. This data is fetched on your behalf, using your own credentials; we do not access other organizations' SAM.gov data through your key.
Opportunity and pipeline data: opportunities you search, save, track, or move through your BD pipeline, along with notes, teaming contacts, and stage information you enter.
Billing information: processed by Stripe, our payment processor. We receive and store limited billing metadata (subscription status, plan tier, renewal dates) but do not receive or store your full payment card number.
Usage data: login timestamps, IP address, and basic activity logs, used for security, account support, and service improvement.
We do not sell, rent, broker, trade, or otherwise monetize customer data, company profile information, opportunity data, or pipeline information.
We share data with the following categories of service providers, solely to operate the Service:
We do not permit these providers to use your data for purposes other than providing services to us.
FedOps uses organization-scoped access controls intended to prevent users from one customer organization from accessing the data of another customer organization through the Service.
As the operator of FedOps's infrastructure, authorized Brief Technologies personnel may access account and company profile data for legitimate purposes, including customer support, troubleshooting, security investigations, and platform maintenance. This is standard practice for any hosted, multi-tenant software platform. This operator-level infrastructure access is separate from, and not limited by, the organization-scoped controls described above, which govern access through the Service itself rather than at the infrastructure level.
We do not access your data to browse it out of curiosity, and access for purposes unrelated to operating the Service is not permitted under our internal practices.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect customer data, including encryption of passwords and API keys at rest, access controls scoped to your organization, and routine security review of our infrastructure. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address in Section 9.
If Brief Technologies LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition, asset sale, or other business transfer, customer information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law.
